"A Day in the Life" is a testament to Andrew Masseurs' storytelling prowess. It's a gripping and emotionally resonant journey through a world transformed by apocalypse.

Bio

Andrew Masseurs has been writing, drawing and telling stories since he was a young child. Perhaps it was inevitable that he would fall into grappling with words, language and music as his creative loves. He is privileged to share his work with a large and welcoming audience. In 2011 he released his first album, From the Back of the Sun with his band AMMP as lead singer and songwriter. With six singles released and songs playing on popular stations like, The Rock, ZM and The Hits the album had much success. This was followed by the ep: This Chaotic Symphony in 2017. Andrew also directed and edited many music videos during this period. He then created three solo albums from 2018 to 2020. Origins, Traveller in the Sky and finally Fuzz Bomb. Writing, engineering, producing, mixing and playing all instruments as well as singing.  He has also had his songs reach the semis of the hotly contested international songwriting competition over twelve times in this period. Andrew again found himself directing and editing music videos as a side passion. It was the directing and his love of movies that led him to start writing his first novel and new passion, A Day in the Life.
Andrew lives in Upper Hutt, New Zealand with his wife Hana and four children, Connor, Reuben, Lily and Annabel.

A Day in the Life

Andrew Masseurs is extremely proud and excited to share his debut novel, A Day in the Life, published by Austin Macauleys. The project  was discovered inexplicably while on holiday. Having climbed the mountain with his musical exploits, Andrew found himself stumbling at the bottom of another mighty mountain. It might have been a lengthy one, taking two and a half years, but this was one story that really needed to be told. Being an incredibly proud kiwi Andrew particularly enjoyed throwing in a few New Zealand references. A couple being a few of his favourite songs. The Veils, Vicious Traditions and Dave Dobbyns, Lap of the Gods, also giving the name to Chapter 12. Look out for more through out the book. The Audiobook, produced by Andrew has been read by the buttery tones of David Piper. With over a hundred titles to his name, Andrew is extremely proud of how the audiobook has turned out. "David breathes life into every line. Nothing makes me more excited than hearing David scream another line, or breathing life into a beloved character."   Paperbook/ ebook release date Nov 10 2023. Audiobook out now. More info
